Enhancements Coming to the Proposals & Contracts Supplier Experience on SAP Business Network

Hello,

Beginning Q4, 2026, SAP Business Network will introduce a redesigned supplier experience for Proposals, Questionnaires, and Contracts through the new Network-Centric View.

Suppliers can use these capabilities to participate in sourcing activities such as RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, auctions, and surveys. They can also complete registration, qualification, performance, and other supplier questionnaires, review and act on contract documents managed through SAP Ariba Contracts and communicate directly with buyer contacts through built-in messaging tools.

What Is Changing?
The Proposals, Questionnaires, and Contracts area of SAP Business Network is being redesigned to provide a more streamlined and efficient experience.

With the new Network-Centric View, proposals, questionnaires, contracts, sourcing events, and profile requests will be presented in a single, consolidated workspace, organized by items that require attention first. This makes it easier for suppliers to prioritize and manage their tasks.

  • All customer activity is now consolidated into a single, status-driven worklist, eliminating the need to select a customer before viewing work items. Status cards at the top of the page organize items into seven categories: Response Needed, Responded (Editable), In Review, Upcoming, Complete, Paused, and Discontinued, with an All view for a complete overview.
  • A unified filter experience allows suppliers to quickly find and manage work across all event types using filters such as Search, Customer, Type, Status, Start Date Range, and Due Date/End Date Range. Suppliers can save filter settings as personalized views and switch between Standard and Advanced modes. Advanced mode includes additional filters such as Assignees, Customer ID, and Document ID, along with bulk Archive and Assign actions.
  • Questionnaires, RFPs, RFIs, auctions, surveys, and contracts can be reviewed and managed within a consistent page experience. Key activities, including submitting questionnaires, bidding on events, and approving contracts, can be completed directly within the application.
  • Localized content support ensures that event and document content is displayed in the supplier's account language when translations are provided by the buyer.

When Will This Happen?

  • Supplier enablement will begin in Q4, 2026 and will be deployed through a phased rollout.

Call to Action?

  • There is no supplier-side action or preparation required.
  • The new experience will be enabled automatically. No supplier configuration is required.
  • No downtime. Users signed in during cut-over will see the new experience on next page load.
