Thanks for the quote. A few more questions:

1. Repeat accuracy (0.02 mm). Is this figure axial return repeatability, or does it describe lateral play at the tool interface? This is the most important question for us — if it's axial it costs us nothing in placement, but if it's lateral it consumes our entire budget. We note the AGM-XYZ is listed at 0.03 mm, which suggests it scales with the number of compensated axes, but we'd like that confirmed.
2. Breakaway force. The catalogue lists 3 N, but only under the AGM-XYZ columns — the AGM-Z 031 cell is blank. What is the breakaway/stiction figure for the Z-only unit? Force hysteresis directly limits how precisely we can set contact force.
3. Spring reduction. The listed spring force is 28/50 N, but our target is 20 N, so we need to reduce it.

• How many springs can be removed, and in what increments?
• What are the resulting min/max force and spring rate for each configuration?
• Is symmetric removal possible? An asymmetric spring set would introduce a lateral moment during compression, which we can't tolerate.
• Is a lower-force spring variant available from the factory?
