Customer, Abbott is checking for their existing units with serial number 7DF45118 (manufacture date: 2015.03) and 7E145123 (manufacture date: 2017.06).

Based on the MIDAS support policy, we understand that both units have reached end-of-life.

The customer would like to better understand the current spare parts availability for these two units. Could you kindly advise which platform-specific parts are still available and which are no longer available?

Yes as long as we sell the current design we will support it for 7yrs from date of purchase.

We are in the early stages of the redesign but as soon as the first prototype is ready we will share it with our Sales channels. I'm expecting 6-8 weeks from now.

If equipment model HGRS V is going to EOL, is approaching EOL, they will need to plan their budget in advance for a replacement model.

According to Abbott, this request is to support their existing production, not for a new application or project.

 

Besides quotation, they would like to understand the lifecycle of the MIDAS equipment model HGRS V, including how long it has been in the market, the expected end of life (EOL) timeline, and the availability of spare parts. If equipment model HGRS V is going to EOL, is approaching EOL, they will need to plan their budget in advance for a replacement model.
