RE: FedEx Ground International Shipment ID: 1063114212 Tracking ID: 878342935275 SHIPPER: CHRISTOPHER BERGER

Hi Victor,

Thank you for the notice on tracking 878342935275. Please hold the shipment; do not return it to origin.

The importer of record is our customer, CMC Electronics Inc., 600 Boul. Dr. Frederik-Philips, Ville Saint-Laurent, QC H4M 2S9. We are confirming with them now whether they will use their own customs broker or FedEx Logistics Canada. We will reply with either their broker's contact information or a signed GAA as soon as we hear back.

A corrected commercial invoice is attached, listing CMC Electronics as importer.

Thank you,
Chris Berger

Hello,

This email contains paperwork that must be completed and returned, in order for FedEx Logistics Canada, Inc., to have the written authorization to begin the clearance process, with Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), with respect to your FedEx Ground shipment(s).

You have the following options:

  1. Have the shipment return to the origin.
  2. Hire any Canadian customs broker. You are welcome to use another Canadian customs broker, just let me know their name and I will send the shipment information to them.
  3. Hire FedEx Logistics Canada, Inc. as your Canadian customs broker. If you are choosing FedEx Logistics Canada, Inc. to be your Canadian customs broker, Please complete the attached GAA and send it back to me. You will receive an invoice from FedEx for clearance cost, by email, two weeks after the delivery.

For any commercial shipments, if the goods being imported into Canada were manufactured in Canada, the United States or Mexico, then a Commercial Invoice - Certification of Origin USMCA/T-MEC/CUSMA is required at time of clearance. Please provide all applicable certificates in order for your shipment to qualify for duty free status under the USMCA/T-MEC/CUSMA Free Trade Agreement. Please note that if your company does not provide the Certificate, duty will be paid in full.

***Please complete and return the following attached documents within 2 business days or your shipment will be returned to the U.S. vendor***

Best regards
