Update to the AESTIR - New Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) DE1 Record Set

The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has added a new PGA record ‘DE1’ to ensure the proper collection of information for the exportation of regulated tableting and encapsulating machine. For the full record layout, please view Appendix Q.

Updates to the Automated Export System Trade Interface Requirements (AESTIR) – Appendix A, Appendix Q and Appendix X have been posted on CBP.gov.

New edits and validations have been built into Appendix A to account for the new requirements for DE1 records. 

Appendix X has been updated with the required Schedule B/ HTS codes for DE1 records.
